Biker Dating - Getting Back on the Bike & Falling in Love Again

If you make contact with a person of interest on arguably one of the best dating sites on the net, everything looks great for that first date, but then the excitement makes way for angst. It has been a long time between drinks, and you might be absolutely terrified about the outcome, and rightly so, if the prospect is some one who rides a motorcycle. If you embark on that first date again after some time out of the dating cycle, and you are apprehensive about taking the plunge again, would you contemplate the analogy that it is a little like getting back on the bike after you've fallen off, so to speak?. After being in a relationship that may not have ended well, you often need that fresh approach. You need to kick start your life again, and even more importantly, your image and attitude. MAKEOVER TIME A makeover could just be the change you need in preparing for dating again. You may have spent a long time in that previous relationship, and consequently have now neglected both your appearance, and your own emotional needs. For most people it's time to get out and do something physical. Join a gym or go jogging at places where most people jog to be seen. If you cannot afford a gym membership, walking is free, and offers great stress relief while you set your own pace and distance. CHECK YOUR CLOSET Too get a good start in this would be to check your closet and dump any clothes that look tatty, include clothes you haven't worn for a year or so. Buy some stylish new clothing to fill the empty spaces in your now empty closet, will give you confidence. Getting a new hair style can both boost ones self esteem as well as attract the attention you need. These simple ideas can open up a whole new world for you. YOUR BODY TYPE and ESSENTIALS You might want to take a friend with you to help you pick out some clothes that suit you for your first date. Many people have difficulty deciding what really looks good on them, and rely on the sales people more than necessary, and sometimes sales people tend to look after their commissions and be pushy towards you. Be realistic, as styles usually favor the younger generation, and you should not buy gear suited for that age group. THE FASHION STAKES FOR WOMEN A nice pair of jeans or a basic black pair of pants is a good start, when you are on a limited budget. If your legs are in pretty good shape, you can add that timeless little black mini skirt, fabulous! For a top, everyday wear in white is good, or pick a pastel shade that suits your skin color tone. Some styles may offer possibly a little lower 'v' cut for evening wear. Sometimes the simple things are the smartest and can set you up nicely. The essentials for women are fragrance, a great manicure, and light make up. Men will always comment on at least one of these things and fragrance is usually the outstanding. Attention to detail will be noted. Make sure that your nails are nicely groomed as well as your toes at all times. FOR GUYS Jeans do the trick, but don't get caught with the ones that are a mile too long, or have the back side ripped out of them. Not impressive at all. The right jean length covers your shoes, and being in relatively good condition says a lot. Dont dress in rags. You need a light colored trendy shirt, that's something you can wear for all occasions, and long sleeved would suit the bil and as a bonus you can roll them up when not wearing a jacket. Speaking of jackets, a plain black one always looks good or alternatively a light shade of Grey, but not of the type Golfers wear on the Par 9. All this might begin to sound mundane and boring, but the message here is you want to suitably impress, but not stand out like a beacon. Wear a belt to match your shoe color (black with black, brown with brown etc,) At this stage, definitely don't wear sneakers! Get a hair cut if you need it, and have a shave. George Clooney looks good with a shadow, but you may not. WHAT IF HE/SHE IS A BIKER If you like motorbikes and he turns up on one, there is a good chance all your preparation is out the window. I would add that a date with a biker, is not a bad thing, and if he/she wants you to double up, then take a breath and hold on. I would hasten to add, you will need to consider your protective clothing at this stage, only if you feel he/she might be worth it though. It's easy to look good, because all the good bike shops have a great range of protective gear, that is stylish and passes the safety test. In these economic times I'm sure they would do a deal to get your hard earned money. Just put the squeeze them for the best deal. If it' a Biker you choose, hey, they're not such a bad lot! Life is for enjoying your self so go out there and get it, and if your date rides a motorbike, that can't be all that bad, can it? http://www.bikerkiss-dating.blogspot.com/ [http://www.bikerkissdating.com/] Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Evert_Harder Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/1823394
